The bears are getting ready for the new and improved, eleventh annual Bear Wear! Are you interested in promoting your company while taking part in one of Victoria's most recognized traditions?
Sponsoring a bear is a $1,000 investment. All companies and individuals will receive a premium spot in the display at the Hotel Grand Pacific (463 Belleville Street) which runs from November 24, 2011 - January 3, 2012. You can use either one of our bears or purchase a different one. Dress it up, bring it to the judging luncheon, and leave it with us to put it on display. Your bear (and your company) will receive exposure to thousands of people - all of whom will vote for their favourite bear with a $2 donation and will have a chance to win the bear and take it home!
Our goal is to raise $30,000 in support the QA School Age Program - when children enter the school system they often need a range of supports to help them achieve their full potential. The therapists in the school age program work with the students, education assistants and teachers to develop strategies for success. Last year the staff worked with 1868 children attending school in one of the Greater Victoria schools, both public and private.
