The Queen Alexandra Foundation is pleased to partner with the following organizations in the delivery of services and support to children, youth and families on Vancouver Island: The Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) provides hospital, community and home care, and environmental and public health services to people living on Vancouver Island and the Gulf and Discovery Islands. First Call - BC Child, Youth and Advocacy Coalition is a coalition of individuals and organizations whose purpose is to create greater understanding of and advocacy for legislation, policy, and practice to ensure that all children and youth have the opportunities and resources required to achieve their full potential and to participate in the challenges of creating a better society. Partnership in Learning & Advocacy for Young Children (PLAY) is a diverse group of people and organizations who share a common vision and collective responsibility for the health and well-being of all young children in the Greater Victoria area.
