8th Annual European & Classic Car Picnic
Sunday, August 22, 2010 - 10am - 2pm
on the QA Grounds, 2400 Arbutus Road Join us at the 8th annual European & Classic Car Picnic, a fundraiser for the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children. Over 200 beautiful, unique cars will be on display and spectators enter by donation. There are lots of activities for families and children, including a bouncy castle, imagination craft station, magicians, Island Radio Operated Car Club hosted races, a Silent Auction, and a BBQ. Jeneece Edroff will be awarded the Order of BC on October 21, 2010 at a ceremony at Government House. The Order of BC recognizes the achievements and excellence of BC citizens and it is the highest honour that can be bestowed on our province's citizens and Jeneece is being recognized for raising over $1.5 million to help children in BC. Congratulations Jeneece! You can play a role in Jeneece's fundraising efforts by supporting Jeneece Place, a home away from home for families who travel to Victoria for medical services.
